A. Fall foliage typically peaks the 1st and 2nd week of October. It varies depending on many weather factors. You can check at www.ILoveNY.com for foliage updates. There are many places with spectacular foliage views in the Finger Lakes. Drive north or south along the lakes and you'll find breathtaking scenery everywhere.

Q. Are there places to stay on the lakes?

A. Yes, there are many beautiful accommodations ranging from resorts, Inns and Bed and Breakfasts that overlook the lake. Check out our Where to Stay section and choose Lakefront


Q. What do you recommend - accommodations, restaurants?

A. It really is your own personal preference: hotel, motel, B & B…each are a very unique setting. Same for food… tastes vary…

A. C.A.T.S. is the public bus transportation in Ontario County. Routes and Schedules are available at 800-667-2287.
